Gingerbread recipe
Ingredients:
3 cups flour
1 cup brown sugar
3 tsp ground ginger
2 tsp mixed spice
1 tsp bicarb of soda dissolved in 1/4 cup water
3 eggs
1 cup golden syrup
pinch salt
1 cup olive oil
1 cup boiled warm water
1 tsp baking powder
Instructions:
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and then beat for 5 mins.
Pour into two greased loaf tins.
Bake at 180C / gas 4 for 65 mins.
Serve sliced with butter.
